This unique cheese dome is perfect for any cheese-lover, or any porcelain collector that is interested in the history and uniqueness of the Mehlem company. The company was renamed Franz Anton Mehlem in 1840 and was significantly different in the way they produced their items. Over the years, many manufacturers were experimenting with different mixtures and changing the ways that they produced their materials to help give their earthenware products a more porcelain-like look and feel.
