Newark FAQs

  • Q: Can I use my card to pay for entry to the fair?

Unfortunately, we can only accept cash payment for tickets.

  • Q: Are there cash points on site?

Cash and bureau de change facilities are located on site. For this service a minimum £3 charge or 1.75% will apply (ID required for amounts over £100).

  • Q: What should I wear?

Our fairs run throughout the year so do come dressed appropriately! Always check the weather forecast for an idea. Wellies are advised if it's been raining as many of our fairs are outside. We've hundreds of undercover stalls too but you don't want to miss out on an outside hidden gem.

  • Q: I'm interested in standing at one of your fairs, how do I do that?

Potential stallholders can find out all they need to know via our Stallholders page and on the individual Fair pages. Prices of pitches and booking forms can be downloaded, completed and returned to our office. If you have any other queries call our office on 01636 702326 and we'll be happy to help.

  • Q: I've bought a large item that won't fit in my car! How can I get it home?

If you've bought an item too large for your car then it's worth asking the dealer first if they can deliver it for you. If they can't they may know someone who can. Remember you can bring your vehicle on site, from 11am onwards, at Newark and Ardingly but do pick up a vehicle pass first from the onsite office, just bring your registration number.

  • Q: I can't find the dealer I bought off! Can you help?

Our fairs are very large, so it's important that you get the details of the person who you are making a purchase from. You can also download sitemaps of all our fairs prior to leaving, make a note of the area you purchased from, to help you remember.
